Biographical Comments
Joshua Brimhall was a dedicated firefighter he began his career with South Davis Metro Fire in 2018, where he found not just a job, but a calling. He lived and breathed the fire service. His favorite moments were on the roof, cutting ventilation holes, working with the trucks, and making forceful entries—anything that brought him closer to the action. He was relentless in his pursuit of excellence, constantly training to sharpen his skills and pushing himself to be better. Just as passionately, he dedicated himself to teaching and mentoring new recruits, eager to pass on everything he had learned. Even on his days off, Josh could often be found watching fire training videos, always striving to grow.
Josh’s fire family was large, loyal, and deeply connected. He spent countless hours learning from those who came before him and, in turn, guiding others who followed. The time they shared forged a bond that was truly special. He held each member of his fire family close to his heart and loved them deeply. He had a special ability to see the good in others, to recognize both their greatness and their struggles, and to remind them of their worth. His quiet presence and influence, loyalty, and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
