It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Thomas E. Royds, IAFF 4th District Local 2844, Lower Merion, Pennsylvania. Brother Royds, 49, was struck by a vehicle on July 24, 2021 while working an accident scene.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lower Merion High School, 315 E. Montgomery Avenue, Ardmore, Pennsylvania 19003; phone: (610) 645-1810. The Funeral Service is private.
