It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter Jason D. Arno, IAFF 1st District Local 282, Buffalo, New York. Brother Arno, 37, was killed while fighting a structural fire on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

Wake will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 2-8 p.m. at Amigone Funeral Home, 1132 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14209; phone: (716) 836-6500.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at St. Joseph's Cathedral, 50 Franklin St., Buffalo, NY 14202
