It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of EMT Jacob Dindinger, IAFF 10th District Local I-60, United Emergency Medical Professionals of Arizona. Brother Dindinger, 20, passed away on July 29, 2021, two weeks after being wounded while responding to a medical incident.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday August 9, 2021 at Casas Church, 10801 N. La Cholla Boulevard, Oro Valley, Arizona 85742; phone: (520) 297-7238.

Biographical Comments
Jacob Dindinger was born on September 13, 2000 in Long Beach, California. From Long Beach, he moved to El Paso, before finally moving to Tucson nine years ago. Jacob lived in Tucson up until his death on July 29, 2021. He is survived by his parents, James and Corrine Dindinger of Tucson, and his brother Bryan Presetti, of Long Beach, California.

Jacob attended Canyon del Oro (CDO) High School in Oro Valley, AZ and graduated in 2019. Jacob played baseball with CDO for three years, until his senior year. After a visit to Long Beach to see his brother, Jacob decided to have a new focus, and decided to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). He attended EMT school at Pima Community College. After graduation and taking some time to become certified in scuba diving, Jacob came to work with us at AMR. Jacob was hired on March 15, 2021 and was working on M-844, an ambulance assigned to the City of Tucson, the day he was shot.
