It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Fire Inspector/Captain Jeremy C. Lundgren, IAFF 16th District Local F-135, Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Brother Lundgren, 32, passed away on March 31, 2023, after suffering a medical emergency.
Visitation will be held on Monday April 10, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Traders Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover, Delaware 19901; phone: (302) 734-4620. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Any department wishing to attend is asked to coordinate respectfully.
Expressions of sympathy or condolences for the local or the family can be sent to IAFF Local F-135, PO Box 2013, Dover AFB, DE 19902-2013
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Tunnels to Towers organization and/or American Heart Association.

Biographical Comments
Jeremy served honorably in the Air Force for over 11 years. During that time, he spent eight years as a firefighter and three years as an Airman Leadership School Instructor. Additionally, during his tenure on active duty, Jeremy deployed twice to the Middle East and once to South Korea. He received numerous awards and medals, to include a Meritorious Service Medal and three Air Force Commendation Medals. Upon completion of his military service as a Master Sergeant, Jeremy continued to serve his country as a civilian firefighter at Dover Air Force Base, in which he served as a Station Chief and a Fire Inspector. He was an inspiring mentor and had an immense positive impact on military and civilian members all around the world.
As a youngster, he enjoyed many adventures and Christmas Eves with his grandparents and his several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and fun trips to New Hampshire with his parents to visit his “Grammy and Grampy in the mountains.” As a teen he enjoyed playing sports, especially football and lacrosse, and getting together with his many friends.
